Music & Arts

Here at Crossroads, music and arts are a fundamental part of our DNA and an integral part of what we do. We encourage every member to be active participants in our Sunday and Wednesday music experiences where our aim is to always facilitate an environment where people can really experience God.
Our desire is to point people to the person of Jesus Christ, for we believe that He is the source and the subject of our worship (be it singing, dancing or any other form of art. We hope that when you join with us, you will encounter His Holy presence in such a way that you can't help but leave changed, challenged and encouraged.

Music
We believe that as worshippers we should practice our craft to the highest level, so we intentionally create an environment within the ministry that challenges and stretches everyone involved, whether you are a guitarist, drummer or singer. We expect growth and development both musically and spiritually, and anyone involved should look forward to learning new material and further developing the gift God has placed within them.



Technology
At crossroads we embrace our modern culture and all the technology available, lights, sound, video and live streaming and all that comes with it. We believe that these elements created and executed with the right heart are as much an expression of worship as any other art. We encourage technically inclined people to get involved and learn to be artistic through the creating of a special environment where all senses are touched.

Art
More recently, we have created an artwall in our main hallway and encouraged artists within the church to express themselves on that wall. We believe that God is the source of all creativity and art and we believe God's message can be converyed though it all. You will often see an artist or two drawing or sketching during a night of worship. Who knows you may even find yourself picking up a brush!
